A welcoming house in the heart of the fishermen’s and winegrowers quarter, the house has a bright open living and dining room with a fitted kitchenette – 2 electric rings on the hob, a microwave, a fridge and a grill. And there is a washing machine as well.

Best of all the superb views of the The Mont Saint Clair and the Etang de Thau. Rising from the lagoon, the silhouette of the city of Sète across the bay is the backdrop to each shimmering silver sunrise, and sparkles its glittering reflection in the waters each starlit night.
Start your day with the shadows of early morning fishing boats and seagulls heading out to the oysterbeds, go to bed as the lighthouse beams of Sete caress the contours of the city of mariners, or the apricot hues of an inflated September harvest moon paints the silken waters lapping the harbour walls outside the house.

Upstairs is the shower room and wc and two bedrooms, one arranged as a double, another a standard twin room. The main bedroomalso boasts views of the lagoon - and of course each window frames the distinctive outline of the Mont Saint Clair that gives the cottage its name.

Outside a table and chairs on the terrace offer the perfect opportunity for people watching in comfort and keeping an eye on the lagoon during long lazy dinners under the pergola.

People watching is only half the story. If you don't catch the flamingos flying over the lagoon, you'll still be able to enjoy the summer aerobatics of the swallows and swifts swooping overhead, or to pass the time of day with the convivial ducks and drakes who call the waters and grasses in front of the house home.
The park and little plagette beach area are just 300 metres from the house. And the famous restaurants of the main port only 2 minutes walk away.
