Phuket Blues Rock Festival Will Kick Off February 23-26, 2012
The much-anticipated Phuket Blues Rock Festival will take place this year from February 23-26. The event will include top musicians from around the world playing the latest in blues and rock tunes, and it will take place at the Laguna Grove luxury resort in Laguna, Phuket.
The headliner for this year’s festival will be Chris Thomas King, a celebrated Blues singer and guitarist whose recent achievements include his collaboration on the soundtrack for the hit movie, ‘O Brother, Where Art Thou’. The talented musician also made headlines for acting opposite George Clooney in the film. Other great musicians featured will include Rich Harper and John Meyer as well as local Phuket bands and musicians from the USA, UK, and Asia. All proceeds from the festival will be donated to the Patong Beach Rotary Club’s Children’s Education Fund.
